Wonderful ! ^^

Les diaporamas sont très bon mais les photos également. L'ensemble est une vraie réussite. Je suis jaloux !

Hi Maverick, please can you put VF-1 1/60 V.2 in one of your dioramas to see what that looks like :?: It would be cool new01

With these dioramas, I hope that I' m going to make a crazy thing
It's my new custom project... my biggest challenge Of my young career.
If all that I have in my mind, I go to show it in diorama... Houuuuu I think that it' s going to be good for my and yours eyes...

PS: Just one indication: 12 Mechas will participate in the diorama

Nicks: Sure thing.. I will do another photoshoot before the weend ends, my camera's been out of commission, but i'll be getting a new one by wednesday..

Just wanna share my latest project's update:

I have finally started with a large scale version of the launch arm, almost done with the Arm part, I still have a lot of things to figure out especially at how will it be able to hold something as heavy as a yamato valkyrie + fastpacks. and the BP8 durability issue is adding to my concern.. sorry about the crappy pics, just using my cellphone's camera.

spent my last 5 days of nothing but either working on this project or going online..

Day 1: Finished Detailing on ARMD Launch Arm

i've decided to make this part a bit thicker than lineart.. with the weight of a 1/48 Valkyrie and a Fast/Strike parts, using even a styrene sheet wouldn't hold it for prolonged time. Some details not present on the line-art were also added.

Day 2-3: Partially Completed Launch Arm's Wrist and 2 Clamp Fingers

I made a mistake at the Finger Plate area.. the yellow/black stripes should pretty much cover the entire plate. Still have to correct it.

Image Image

Image Image

Another stupendous mistake was i didn't test fit the clamp on the valkyrie with strike parts on.. it turned out wider than the valk, good thing i haven't permanently glued the finger part together.. quick fix i can only think is have the fingers angled at 45 degrees..

Day 4-5: Partially Completed ARMD Launch Base Section

Used a combination of styrene sheet, cardboard and mat.. im thinking of reinforcing it further with plywood at the back, depending on how it's gonna hold up.

Here's how it looks like so far when put together:

thank you guys.. i'm working on the "signal arm" right now, hopefully i'll get all done including some adjustments on the manipulator's clamp fingers by the end of this week.

I'm also contemplating on doing another custom, either a 1/48 Scale Replica of the Revell Robotech Factory (where i will house a few VF-1 in GBP Armor and the new 1/60 Destroids), a Macross Factory, or a Macross Zero Anti UN Spacy Hanger/Base (for the 1/60 Yamato SV-51s)

Please, if any of you guys have any screenshots/scans/line-art to any of those, i'd be very glad if you share it to me.

Lancer: Thanks for the picture.. got the same pic, but it was of smaller resolution though :D

did the final changes:

- Finger Plate Area change with reference to the line-art
- Clamp/Fingers shortened instead of my initial plan of having it angled
- Discarded the Acrylic reinforcement
- Discarded Clamp articulation, a small metal c clamp, hidden below the finger plate was used in lieu of the acrylic holder.. basically it's holding the valks back part

a few more additions:
- Signal Arm Made
- added details on the launch wrist part
- applied decals

so.. this is basically my completed ARMD Launch Arm and Base

(sorry mods.. flicker doesn't have a thumbnail link as far as i know, so i opted to post here the reduced "medium res" pics)

Hey Guys.. just wanna share my New Display Theme for this year..

Last year, i basically showcased figures that i like from each line. Actually other than macross and anime figures, i've been collecting other lines from Joes, to TF mechas.. to western toys etc..

This year, i've been contemplating at doing an "All Macross Display Theme" since obviously it's been the sole line that i got constantaly hook up and so far have been loving this line. I've managed to unload all previously displayed toys around January this year, but never really got the chance to start setting up since i got hooked up with other stuff, work and the death of a dear friend..

anyways.. 'nuf talk.. here's my Macross Display Theme: (didn't want an all cramp up display so i just choose to display basically the camo valkyries and 2 non-camo scheme that i like)
